About the Kids Shows

We’re back on the road tackling children’s mental health with our high-energy kids show tour – ‘3 Happy Tricks’ with Martin Heppell.

Through music, storytelling and plenty of laughs, these shows provide primary school aged children and their parents practical strategies how to be happier and more resilient.

You can catch the tour, featuring our most engaging and entertaining presenter, Martin Heppell, around Victoria in the Term 3 school holidays (September-October) in Bendigo, South Morang, Frankston, Ringwood, Melbourne, and Geelong!

Who is Martin Heppell?

There’s nobody quite like Martin. A high-energy, passionate speaker and educator, Martin is known for his impactful work in resilience and mental wellbeing. With a background in elite sports and education, he mixes real-life experiences with evidence-based insights to captivate audiences of all ages. As a key member of The Resilience Project, he helps deliver programs that boost mental wellbeing, emotional literacy, and positive mental health strategies.

A look at past shows


Can I bring my own food and beverages to the show?

Yes – you are welcome to bring your own snacks and water!

Yes – our venues usually have food and beverages available for purchase. Please look into your specific venue for further information on what will be available.

3 Happy Tricks content is appropriate for a primary school audience and their parents and carers. Children under 12 months are free if they sit on an adult’s lap.

The show runs for 60 minutes and there is no interval.

We will have a range of our wellbeing resources like adult journals, GEM Conversation Cards, Kids activity books and more available for sale at the shows!

Martin will do a meet and greet after the show in the foyer. He’d love to meet you!

If your child is nervous about crowds and noise, please prepare them before the show to let them know that it may get a little noisy with dancing, singing and clapping, but it will be lots of fun and it is a safe space.

If your child is sensitive to loud music, please remember to bring headphones.

We will not use strobe lighting.

If your child is on the autism spectrum and/or has sensory issues, please contact the venue to see if they have seating available close to an exit if this is helpful.
