It sure is! We’ve made our events so that the content is relevant and adaptable to all settings, including all early years settings, primary and secondary classrooms.
If you’ve joined us before, you’ll recognise much of the content, but it can be a valuable refresher! Think of it as familiar ideas with fresh inspiration to help further embed wellbeing in your school culture and keep it front and centre in your teaching.
We understand that, but this isn’t just a one day event – it’s a long-term investment in student and staff wellbeing. Teachers leave inspired, equipped with evidence-based strategies to support wellbeing in every classroom and energised to model self-care and resilience. It supports professional learning requirements while giving teachers practical tools they can share with their colleagues to foster a positive culture where both staff and students can thrive.
Our Teacher Seminar draws directly on strategies from our School Wellbeing Program, which has been shown to reduce depression and anxiety in students by 47% and 34% respectively, thanks to an independent study by Monash University. While this day is tailored for teachers, the approaches are grounded in research and real-world experience, giving you practical, evidence-based tools you can confidently bring into any classroom.
Our Teacher Seminars align with the following Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST):
STANDARD 4 | CREATE AND MAINTAIN SUPPORTIVE AND SAFE LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS
