Coles’ partnership with The Resilience Project (TRP) has enabled the school wellbeing program to support positive mental health in the classroom, staffroom and wider community to over 500,000 students in 1,500 schools across Australia.Â
Together, Coles and TRP are building happiness and resilience in our school communities after the Australian Government Productivity Commission highlighted the unmet mental health needs in our schools.
Coles first partnered with The Resilience Project in 2020 to help team members across the country cope with the stresses and anxieties experienced at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, 120,000+ Coles team members have also participated in TRP’s positive mental health Workplace Wellbeing program. Â
Additionally, Coles has enabled the TRP School Wellbeing Program to be delivered to over 30 Australian primary and secondary schools in high-need communities. These particularly are schools that have experienced hardship due to natural disasters and lower socio-economic factors. Coles recently funded 3 schools in the community of Lismore to enable 850 students and teachers participate in the school wellbeing program, after the area suffered from major flooding in 2022.
