As we use Zoom for program meetings and presentations, it will be important for you to ensure your school or service can access Zoom.
Queensland Department of Education staff can access Zoom sessions via Zoom Enterprise.
Here are the instructions to do this:
- Go to https://qldedu.zoom.us
- From this page, simply sign into your account, setup a new meeting or join a meeting you have been invited to.
- Additionally, you can also download the desktop Zoom Enterprise client
Not all staff have a licence to host Zoom Enterprise meetings, but joining should be no problem!
One issue that has been noted by EQ: there have been some rare cases where staff members had registered their work email as the username for a personal (non-enterprise) Zoom account.
If this occurs for you, you can change this email to an alternative through your profile on the Zoom public site (https://zoom.us), which will then enable you to login to Zoom Enterprise (https://qldedu.zoom.us).
If Queensland Department of Education staff are encountering issues with connecting to Zoom sessions, you can log a job with the department IT Service Centre for support.
