TRP x HoMie: World Mental Health Day & World Homeless Day

HoMie supports young people affected by homelessness or hardship. 100% of their profits go towards equipping them with the skills, confidence and experiences to be more work ready and better prepared for their future.

World Mental Health Day and World Homeless Day happen to fall on the same date – the 10th October.

Mental illness and youth homelessness share similar risk factors, and one can increase the risk of the other, turning into a vicious cycle. One of our Community Partners is an amazing social enterprise called HoMie who help young people affected by homelessness or hardship. We thought that World Homeless Day and World Mental Health Day would be an incredible opportunity to raise money for young Australians doing it tough.

Therefore, from Thursday 10th – Thursday 17th October we will be donating 100% of the profits from all of our Wellbeing Journals to HoMie.

Where your money will go

HoMie is not only a clothing label located on Brunswick Street, but an organisation that supports young people affected by homelessness or hardship to equip them with skills, confidence and experiences to be more work-ready and better prepared for their future.

HoMie does so by running the Pathway Alliance program, HoMie’s own accredited retail training and education paid internship for young people (16-25) affected by homelessness or hardship.

All the money from any 21 Day or Six Month TRP journals bought between the 10th– 17th October will go directly to HoMie’s Pathway alliance program.
